Silent and unexpected. We only realize death is near when it is a tad too close to those who forget that our life here is just like the Matrix kinda movie...everything is merely illusions, three-dimensional temporary playground (Remember that X Men movie where they used a Virtual Reality training ground? It felt so real…but it was just illusions/ holograms/ VR)
Yes. In fact, we are just actors and actresses in this world. We are just the representatives of AlLah to be what we are supposed to be; the best human being in this world. We will be playing our part – the professional, the police officer, the boss, the cleaner, the scientist, the researcher, the astronaut, the athlete, the husband, the wife, the children etc…
All of us will eventually go back to our real hometown – the Akhirah, the Here After. Where those who lead their life as the real representatives of AlLah will be assessed and evaluated. The best will be promoted to live in paradise (with Allah's grace - rahmah Allah) but those who didn't score their marks will be cleansed in hell before AlLah (with his grace, too) let them live in paradise.
We are AlLah's representatives on this earth to be the BEST human being, the BEST keeper of ALlah's amanah or responsibilities, the best keeper for the environment- the fauna and flora, the air we inhale, the land that we roam, the country that we managed, the work that we do, even the family that we build with His approval...All of these are Ibadah, the work to please AlLah, redha ALlah. If we make Him happy, God's willing, InsyaAlLah, all ends well...
Do we live up to AlLah's expectation? You don't want to upset the GREATEST BOSS ever, do you? Or else, your performance appraisal won't be that impressive…
So let us work hard in our humanly capacity to go back to our hometown and claim that beyond worldly merits and bonuses that only He, can give.
InsyaAllah, Allah is the most merciful and gracious...
