Dear Me,
What actually should one pursue? Something that pleases the eyes or something that pleases the heart?
I am having trouble deciding.
One is so soothing to the eyes. Did our Master not say.... "Three things soothe the sights: Looking at greenery, at water flowing, and at a face glowing."
One is so soothing to the heart. The music that is his voice ripples through my soul like mischievous wind ruffling leaves on a quiet summer day.
What should I choose?
